I recently tried out @omnifoods.au. Omni Foods specialises in plant-based meatless frozen products made from a blend of proteins from peas, non-GMO soy, shiitake mushrooms and rice. Omni Foods has a Good Source of Protein, suitable for vegans & vegetarians. I have created some dishes using Omni Foods plant-based meat to re-create a dish.
Easy Recipes:
Korean sandwich street food brekky is usually very popular in South Korea. The Korean sandwich is loaded with cabbage, carrot, and protein & packed with condiments. The Korean sandwich folded in a specific way, so when you cut through the sandwich, it looks very appealing to eat.
Ingredients
Protein:
3x Pieces Omni Foods Plant-based Luncheon
2x Sandwich bread
Vegetables:
2x Pieces Cos Lettuce
Bunch Shredded purple cabbage,
Bunch Shredded green cabbage
Bunch Shredded carrot.
Sauce:
1tsp Vegan Mayo
1tsp Vegan Mustard

Method
- Saute the thinly sliced purple cabbage, green cabbage & carrot for 2 minutes separately & leave them aside.
- Add the Omni Foods Plant-based Luncheon onto a frying pan & cook it until it’s ready.
- Add Vegan Mayo, Mustard onto a bowl & mix.
- Spread the Vegan mustard mayo onto the sandwich bread & top it with the cos lettuce, purple cabbage, three pieces of Omni Foods Plant-based Luncheon, green cabbage & sliced carrot. Place another sandwich with Vegan mustard mayo on top.
- Wrap the Korean sandwich with Glad wrap & then Cut it in half. Enjoy
